We were exhausted just reading about Andrew-Thomas Corbett’s session work schedule, so imagine our admiration for him when we heard he’d written a book! Hair Mythos in Dark Mannerism draws on mysticism and mythology in a fashion context, showcasing innovative hair techniques with a dark edge. Definitely one to be read in a cosy armchair by the fire and with a large glass of red wine to hand – purely for atmospheric reasons, of course!
In between chapters, Andrew-Thomas recently presented PSIONICS alongside Toni&Guy’s George Akkad at Café de Paris in London, an avant-garde show whose title means ‘to create other-worldly phenomena with one’s own mind’. Styled by StyleCreative and with DJ JoJo providing the after-party soundtrack, the results were spectacular. And with a DVD to accompany the show, Andrew truly is the one to watch.
We’ll definitely be purchasing that! Would have lived to have been at Cafe de Paris that night… Will it happen again next year??
