Welcome to the new system of connecting with industry professionals without wasting time – Speed Networking. Fashion and beauty online news service Fashion Insight, recently held the first successful speed networking event at London’s CUBE, with a matchmaking format encouraging everyone to make acquaintances with people they wouldn’t normally come across in a working environment. PRs, stylists, photographers, writers, designers, bloggers and beauty brands mingle for 20 seconds before a two-minute proper introduction. Guests left milling through their Oriflame goodie bags, filled with everything from cosmetics to cupcakes, and were delighted with the relaxed and useful evening. Make sure you get down to the Fashion & Beauty Speed Networking event tomorrow – you never know, you could just meet that business partner you’ve been looking for!
