Welcome to The Coterie!
The Coterie is a brand new members-only club for people working in the hair and fashion industries. We created it because even though hair and fashion are inextricably linked, the only place where professionals from both worlds currently meet is at work – on a photo-shoot, perhaps, or backstage at the shows. We felt that needed to change!
The Coterie is our way of bringing like-minded individuals together to listen, talk, connect, inspire and learn from each other. And of course, indulge their love of fashion!
Our members will meet four times a year in a central London location to hear influential fashion experts discuss topical issues, share their skills and knowledge, and give their own unique insight into the world of fashion.
We’ve already got some terrific names signed up, like Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, international creative director of Toni&Guy (a brand that is at the epicentre of London Fashion Week), and Martin Raymond, who’s the strategy and insight director at The Future Laboratory trends forecasting agency, as well as a brilliant broadcaster. Other hot, hot names are in the pipeline!
The Coterie is steered by a remarkable committee of industry experts that includes branding expert Michelle Feeney (she gave the world Crème de la Mer!), fashion historian Caroline Cox and Vogue contributing editor Anna-Marie Solowij.
Our first event takes place on October 29 at The Shooting Gallery at the Haymarket Hotel, and will tell you ALL you need to know about Spring/Summer 2010. A full six months before any of it actually happens!
